 Apples contain pectin, a soluble fibre, which supports the microbiome and the gut integrity.

Cooking the apple helps release the pectin making
it easier to digest.

- serves 4

6 large organic apples cored and chopped with skin on

1 handful of unsweetened cranberries (optional)

2 tsp cinnamon 

1 tsp ground turmeric

1 tsp lemon zest

1 cup filtered water

Combine all the ingredients in a large pan
and simmer over a low heat for 15 minutes.

Serve with coconut yoghurt.
